manages and scouts locations for Vancouver's film industry, and produces and edits his own video and photography content. He graduated with honours for his 4.0 average in 2006 from the journalism program at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, including photojournalism, political science and philosophy. Stephen also studied theatre, English and environmental geography at Langara College, and has travelled in 17 countries on five continents. His insight and talents are many and varied. He's been studying about wild edibles for the past year, learning from and working with one of Germany's pioneering wind technicians for the last few years, and playing and signing the blues with his guitar and harmonica for nearly two decades.
Stephen was the Member of Legislative Assembly candidate for the Green Party in the Vancouver-Point Grey riding during the 2009 BC provincial election. The Vancouver-born politician entered his fourth election to suggest how we can improve life in BC and on Earth. He advocates that we change our voting system to BC STV, institute a neighbourhood assembly system, and engage in discussions of the 9/11-truth movement and ecological overshoot. Stephen wants to help BC understand ecocentrism and why we should develop an ecocentric economy.
